The Specs
Transplanted to Toronto at a very young age, Dayes has always stayed true to her Montreal roots by cheering for the better team.  As a result of the lockout, she took a hiatus from hockey, but came back in 2010 as a result of the heroic efforts of Jaroslav Halak.  When she’s not cursing the networks for showing the Leafs game instead of the Habs game, she makes electricity.  At the beginning of the 2011-2012 season, she was approached by All Habs to help coordinate All Habs Hockey Parties in Toronto for fans to watch and cheer for the Habs.  And the rest, as they say, is history.
The Essentials
As her Twitter handle subtly implies, she sorta, kinda likes to drink Coke.  In addition to her love for the Habs, her passions are travel, food, music and literature.  She’s also a bit of a political news junkie.  Dayes shares her home with her dog Elfie and encourages everyone to adopt dogs from an animal shelter.
What you must know
Many moons ago, when the Leafs were still periodically making the playoffs, Dayes was partying it up with her girlfriends at a nightclub.  A man at the bar offered to buy her and her friends a round of drinks, which she gladly accepted.  After a few minutes, he felt that the group’s gratitude wasn’t up to snuff, and haughtily said, “Do you know who I am?  I’m Mats Sundin.  Captain of the Leafs?”  Instead of being awed or impressed, Dayes replied, “Oh. *faux awkward pause* I’m a Habs fan.”
What you probably didn’t know
Dayes is not a girly girl…but this non-girly girl cooks, sews, sings, plays piano, and spent 12 years in a tutu and leg warmers.  If it wasn’t for the hockey love, years of competitive volleyball and engineering degree, no one would believe that she wasn’t a girly girl.
